A Portrait of James, with Wishes from Africa!

I am returning on Mission to the remote villages in Nigeria on 15th November – 16th December 2009.
As I was looking through the Charity Mission notes over the past year, I was reminded that in Tunga/Zuga, Ungwa/Fada, Kaban and Quo Vita Villages in very remote areas, there are 56 blind villagers, which include 28 children. River blindness and cateracts cause most blindness here.
James lives in Tunga-Zuga an isolated village in Kebbe State. Nigeria.
AS I sat and listened to him sing Jesus Loves me, I realised that although he is physically blind, he can see through eyes of faith.
I wrote this verse for James and I dedicate it to all those children I have met who are Blind.
“In my world of darkness there is light,
I see my Jesus through eyes of faith,
what these natural eyes cannot see,
my eyes of faith reveal all to me”.
