Rahab and her mother travelled a long way to ask me to pray for her daughter. Rahab could her until 8 years old and then went deaf. She cannot lip read, or can she use sign language. I truly feel heartbroken for her. But I also believe that God led her to us for a purpose. She will hear again. I know as I have seen God heal many in my ministry and in other ministries.

The reason her mother left her birth village is that the villagers forced her to leave as they believe that Rahab is a witch and has brought evil upon herself and the village. This is a lie from satan.
In Ungwa/fada the whole village is Christian and they both found love and help among the villagers.
Please pray for Rahab. Support us in our mission.

I believe she will indeed hear again, as now not only is your mission praying for her, but all of us as well.

    Father,
We lift up litle Rahab to you, and stand upon your promise that by HIs stripes we are healed.

We ask that you send healing to her not only for her sake, but also for the sake of the rest of her people, that they may see the Glory of your Power and come to know you and your Son Jesus.

We ask that you make the life of Rahab a liviing testimony to the fact that you wish to reach out to her entire continent, that they may come to know your Love as she has.

All his we pray in the name of Jesus,
    Amen.

    BTW Trevor.
All these children have scriptural names. Are those literal translations, or have you guys nicknamed them so to speak?

Michael, In almost all of Nigeria they use Christian first names like Bible names. In one village Kaban, There are 6 Marys and three Johns. The kambari Speak little English except a few. but missionaries hand teh gospel have made such an impact on their lives, that when a child is born, the tend to name it with a Biblical or other English name. There are in some occassions spoken in their native tongue. My trusty mission staff interpret them into English. Yes Michael, Rahab will hear as many are asking God to open her ears. I see her as hearing perfectly. This is a great Mission and with many more joining and making donations of art adn donations via the Philadelphia Mission Website, we will this year be able to really make a big difference in many live sin Rural and Isolated village sin Africa. Praise God!.

Donate some of your art and save a child’s life!
