Tunga Zuga village. Rural Nigeria.
This was late evening, and i asked them to bring a child to me that had rickets, adn the brought 14 that were disabled by this terrible disease. some are not in the photo. I began to pray and the Lord touched me so deeply that I wept for them as I prayed.
here are children who have bowed legs and feet adn they to as I was praying were praising God. the village canno grow enough food. this is why we are raising funds to buy a tracor and machinary, so we can help 25 villages grow good quality food. then rickets will be a thing of the past here in rural villages.

And all it will take to prevent this is a handful of vitamins. :-(

That is so sad to think we spend millions to put man on the moon and can’t even help these children.

I have to agree with Sharon. I think so much is wasted and we complain so much about what we don’t have. I am including myself. People say God helps those who help themselves, but I think the true statement would be God helps those who help others.

IF EVERYONE HERE WILL TELL ONE OTHER WHO DOES NOT KNOW OF THE PLIGHT OF THESE PEOPLE AND ASK THEM TO PRAY, GOD WILL SEND THE SPIRIT TO CONVICT THOSE THAT HEAR AND THEY WILL HELP. IF WE WOULD EACH GIVE JUST A FEW PENNIES WE WOULD MAKE THAT DIFFERENCE. WHILE GOVERNMENTS PERHAPS SHOULD BE HELPING IT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAT WE THE BELIEVERS HELP. BLESS YOU BROTHER FOR BRINGING THIS MISSION BEFORE US.

I can just imagine if eveyone who’s heart is moved would donate only $1… what would be the result…. I think it could be called “Miracle”! Just a thought…:)

Thank you for the pics. People forget about the suffering of others when they are not the ones who are doing the suffering. May God move all those who can help support your work to do so and make all the provisions for these beautiful people.

Their condition is, indeed, heartbreaking! However, I see their beauty shine through your love for them. I am reminded of my own infirmity and need of Christ’s redeeming love. May you continue to reflect God’s love and desire for all of His creation… and continue to remind us of the task at hand. ~ Zeph 3:17 The Lord our God is with us. He is mighty to save.

Oh man here I think of how we complain and complain about all that we have and these children probably are happier then we are in the long run… this touching.. glad you shared this with us

Wow! Thank you for your encouragement. I am so excited that a man who believes and trusts God is something about it for real people. Our actions are like an open book for people to read. The photos you have taken are outstanding and an inspiration. I have a book called “The blessing of tears” by Julie Sheldon. Not a bad book!
