Greetings,
I am Joshua Stevens.
My gallery is a sampling of my Original paintings that are rich with color and texture in natural light, that shine electric under ultraviolet light and that vibrantly glow in the dark. I offer prints of my paintings as photographed under these different lights.
I grew up in the Canyons of Boulder, Colorado and it is not uncommon to find some images of the local Mountains (The Flatirons) somewhere in my artworks.
My fascination with the Universe (I saw an asteroid hit the moon when I was a kid) and my obsessive interest in Theoretical Physics leads me to paint Galaxies, Planets, Stars and other celestial images. Flourescent paint brings magic to my Multi-Dimensional Collection.
My commitment to the environment and respect for all life moves me to paint pictures of Animals and Nature. I especially like Birds and was called the “Birdman of Boulder” in a newspaper article but I love painting Dinosaurs and Unicorns too!
Because Painting is My True Passion!
