Baby steps proving successful.
During the last few months I have been aiming my photography towards private collectors based in Melbourne and Sydney.
One method I have been using to achieve this and which I have found personally rewarding is strategically exhibiting particular prints or series of prints in limited edition releases.
Word of mouth and rigorous networking have also proven to be very effective in this pursuit.
I now officially have a collector in Melbourne and 90% possibility of securing another in Sydney while currently exhibiting at a gallery there.
I also joined the Bayside Business Network and attended a free seminar which has proven to assist me greatly in boosting sales.
I have learnt extensively also by removing myself from my comfort zone and pursuing these avenues.

Congrats Josh! I think it’s brilliant… and I realised earlier this year that we have to be our own marketing managers. It’s tough but true. Glad it’s paying off for you. =)
