This is a piece I did in college. I really like it a lot. The charcoal and paper were singing to me as I drew this. Unfortunately it was damaged a little during a burglary to a house i lived in four years ago.

Joseph~ thank you for sharing this with me. I always loved charcoal drawings. In fact, it was charcoal sketching that got me into Mezzotint engraving… I love Black… with Mezzotint, you begin with a rectangle of black, and burnish in the highlights, working from dark to light. just like life!~ Anthony
