Just in time for Valentine’s Day.
I wanted to create a piece that didn’t heavily draw on love hearts or roses but was full of passion all the same. I think I managed to achieve that (?!).
The term “Je t’adore” (I adore you) has a stronger meaning in French than the English “I love you”. I like the idea that there’s something you can say that represents that rare depth of feeling, affection, respect and admiration.
Digital collage with hand sewn embroidery.

A mish-mash of artist, illustrator and designer. Fascinated by all things dark, whimsical and vintage her work is characterized by a collision of Victorian vignettes, rockabilly pin-ups, religious iconography, tattooing, 20th century circus and fairground lore, and a slight obsession with El Dia De Los Muertos.

Beautifully executed work Jordan – there’s a lovely sense of sophistication in the collage and the embroidery really pulls it all together so well.
