A mid level disturbance was being fed moisture from a decaying tropical cyclone to produce several storms over the Perth coast on the 12th December 2011. To witness the storms crossing the coast was great in itself but to capture some of my best lightning shots to remember it by, was just awesome. I have to admit is was just amazing to witness the strike. The crew I was shooting with gave out a big WOW when it happened. Then to see the photo was just superb. :)
