Another pattern I created while teaching myself how best to use Illustrator to create seamless tiles. See also Reggtro and Starflower This one was used to figure out what I can and can’t get away with.
This one is also interesting because I was experimenting with using Illustrators symbols.
The advantage being that once I have my tile repeating using a symbol(s) all I need to do to update the pattern is update the symbol and the changes made will propagate throughout. You can set up a similar technique in Photoshop by using smart layers.
