Merchandise for animal rights

Hi there RB friends!

Haven’t been very active here in the Redbubble lately, but I’m still around, checking in daily…. just too busy with my actual work to participate as much as I wish.

Luckily I sometimes have a chance to create t-shirts for my clients.

I was happy to have a chance to do a big campaign for Animalia, Finland’s leading animal rights organization. In addition to the media campaign I also created four campaign characters and designed a bunch of merchandise; T-shirts for adults and children, make-up bag and badges.

In case you’re interested, all these items are for sale at their shop and website: http://www.animalia.fi/tilaa-tuotteita/tuotteet...

P.S. “EI” means “NO” – No for cruel testing on animals.

New brand, new designs, new homepage

What I’ve been up to lately, part 2

In my spare time I created my own brand called “Underdog Fightwear”. There’s a big MMA boom going on right now, and I wanted to jump on the bandwagon too. Also, as a marketing pro, I thought it might be interesting to play around with an own brand in the Internet… see if I can make something happen.

The site was made with a free homepage service, so it’s not very cool looking or clever. I just wanted to make it easy to approach – and easy to do shopping. Of course I need to create more content in order to get more hits and more clients. It’s very much under construction still.

You are welcome to check out the site www.underdogfightwear.com. All comments are very welcome! And of course there’s a shop in RB too.

Learning to draw

What I’ve been up to lately, part 1

During this previous winter I’ve been participating in life drawing & croquis classes. It’s been a great way to learn human anatomy, and try different techniques. Lots of fun too.

Here’s some examples of my croquis exercises, Most of these are 3 minute sketches (which is a bit too long for a croquis, I think).

(Wikipedia: “Croquis drawing is quick and sketchy drawing of a live model. Croquis drawings are usually made in a few minutes, after which the model changes pose and another croquis is drawn.”)

1. Croquis with super-soft pencil

2. Croquis with half-used marker pen

3. Croquis with calligraphy pen
