Geez, this is quite striking. It kinda has that old 1950s ’grandma’s picture-postcard’ feel to it. Your composition is sterling too; the dead juniper tree leads the eye right into the frame straight to the ‘mittens’ of Monument Valley. Excellent details. I really like your post-pro effects. Thanks everyone. Chris – There actually has been very little post processing with this! This was a 35mm photo taken with my old Canon EOS about 8 years ago. The photo itself had aged a little, hence the “grandma” effect that you mentioned! I scanned the photo onto my computer and so then apart from cleaning up a few bits of dust and adding just a touch of saturation, it really hasn’t had much post processing.
