Puffing Billy
Last weekend my husband and I took our boys for a trip on Puffing Billy.
Puffing Billy is an old steam train that runs on a line that was built around a 100 years ago in the Dandenong Ranges, about 40kms out of Melbourne. It runs all year round by hundreds of dedicated volunteers.
It is such a beautiful trip through the mountains, one that I have not done since I was a child and I love the fact that not much has changed since then. Kids are still allowed to hang out of the windows as seen in this photo and it is quite an exilharating experience as you travel across the bridge with the drop below!
