Susan was worried about the impression she would make on her guests this evening. She fluttered about the house tidying this, straightening that. Earlier she had spent more than an hour removing unsightly mushroom clusters that appeared to be on all the lawns.
The doorbell rang. Susan ushered her new neighbours in to her formal living room. Her husband, Tom, took drink orders while Susan passed a tray of brownies one of the neighbours had kindly brought with her.
In no time everyone was chatting. And giggling. A lot. Uncontrollably. Suddenly they had the munchies and the magic brownies were attacked with renewed interest.
It wasn’t so much Susan who made an impression on the new neighbours, as they on her. She realized there was no need to be stuffy – this was going to be a fun place to live. And to eat brownies. That made her laugh. Uncontrollably.

Magic mushrooms…..Ohh…that brings back memories….Who said that!
LOL – thanks for the read. They were once a staple of my diet … the government doesn’t REALLY monitor the web do they?
