This is a trully typical northern portuguese manor from the 15th century. Made in baroque style, this building had parts added until the 18th century by the familly that owned the manor. Unfortunately I can’t find a lot of information about this piece of art despite it is a national monument since 1977.
It can be founded and visited at the Ponte de Lima’s municipality.
P.S. – “Solar” does not only mean “related to solar power” in portuguese. It is also a word for “Mansion”/“Manor”.
