Praça da República at Viana do Castelo by

Viana is a very beautiful city full of stories to tell, monuments to see, amazing folklore and incredible goldsmithing! This is the south view of it’s main plaza “Praça da República” which is portuguese for Republic’s plaza.

Would love to be here. Fine work.

  • Well, get a plane to Porto and rent a car. Take the highway A29 and leave at the same exit with the name of th city. Have fun!! :) (and thanks!)

That is exactly what I like Joao…..Love old buildings!!

  • Well, then Portugal is DEFINATELY (excluding patriotism here) THE place for you. You could spend a whole year there and still findind new things to see and do not have time to see everything. I do recomend you Portugal, but I do not recomend you a travel agency (unless it is a very good one!), otherwise they’ll just send you to the turistical concrete-sand Algarve and that’s it. Take a look at the group Portugal here in RB, there is a lot over there to see. If you decide to go, I can give you tips free of charge lol :)

I am sure I will take you up on that offer one day Joao…..Just have to wait for the kids to grow a bit (they find it very boring looking at old buildings) Thanks for the tip on the group, I will check it out : ))

  • I do understand that, I also have kids… :) Just ask when you need! :)
