Most known as Redcurrant in English. This berry is a true gift from mother nature, not only is highly rich in C vitamin but as well you can do jams, juice, pies, drinks, filling for pies and roasted meats, and in Portugal there is even a concentrate drink made of it (search for “Groselha” on google) that you can mix with water, soda or beer. Besides this, we can also make fie photos with them…

This is lovely Joao……………..we grew these in the garden when I was a child………………..I think your photo is more tasteful if my memory serves me well……………………Joyce!!
lol Thanks! I kind of have an idea of what that feels! Here in Sweden I cannot have most of the things I had in Portugal (lemon, orange, mandarin orange, quince, japanese persimmon, plums, peach trees and grape yard and a passion fruit bush to be more specific). Thanks for the fave and the comment! :)
