This is the Store Mosse (Big Swamp) National Park on the northeast side. This side of the park is much different than the rest of the park. Here the park is more focused on bird watching and with paths and landscapes like this. This path has about 12km lenght and goes around a small lake where many birds can be seen most of the times.

Before the central part of the swamp became a National Reserve this was used as a peat “factory” employing hundreds of people. Some when in the beggining of the XXth century there was a huge fire at the warehouse destroying everything and the business shuted down.

Scientists say that in about 1000 to 2000 years there will be no more swamp left because the trees that grow up are slowlly draining the swamp and one day all of it will be forest. In the meanwhile you can go there and visit it.

Chelsea……Nope my team is a little further north and plays at The Lane and will be beating Chelsea in the next round of the FA cup!!

  • Tottenham?? That’s great ’coz my team just lost yesterday 0-1 against Chelsea for the CL and it irritated me a lot ’coz they defended the whole game and made 4 strikes during the 90 min… Good luck with the cup! :)

Great shot Joao,,,,they really do look similar to the one I took!!

  • A bit, like I said, I was more talking about the place itselft than the photo, you have a quite different editing than me. Still, the places remind me of each other. Thanks so much for taking a look and faving! Much appreciated!
