I’m just getting back in photography after a long spell with just a point and shoot digital.
In June 2011, I bought my first DSLR and have become infected with the photography bug for the second time in my life.
I am in awe of the talent here on Red Bubble and that inspires me to become a better photographer.
Thanks for stopping by……… :)

Thankyou very much for that. :) I appreciate it very much.
I’ve wondered what these birds were called ever since taking a few (more distant) photos of a couple on Cooper Creek in Western Arnhem Land recently. I haven’t posted them on to the Bubble but in any case they weren’t a patch on this one of yours. Great work indeed.RegardsPeter
Thanks for stopping by Peter. I think there is an element of luck involved with any of these photos. I mean, first you have to see the subject, then there is other luck involved with the time of day, where exactly is the subject and what is it doing. More luck with the light at the time etc etc etc. I guess the more we are out there, the better chance we have. Lol, I know I have countless pics that wont get seen by anyone. I appreciate your comments, :)
This picture is gorgeous!
