Captured in the setting sun with my Canon 7D and L Series Telephoto lens.
I’m just getting back in photography after a long spell with just a point and shoot digital.
In June 2011, I bought my first DSLR and have become infected with the photography bug for the second time in my life.
I am in awe of the talent here on Red Bubble and that inspires me to become a better photographer.
Thanks for stopping by……… :)
hello cocky. this is nice :)
Thankyou for that Mellychan, I am pretty lucky that there are lots around where I live. They are pretty active in the afternoons and I was lucky that a whole flock flew right past me a few at a time and gave me a few opportunities to catch them in the sun. Thanks for stopping by here and for leaving comments on quite a few other pics. I really appreciate that. :)
From Holland a compliment
From Australia, a big thankyou John, for the visit and kind comment. :)
Wonderful shot of this galah Jon. A few years ago we put a feeder under a tree in our garden and they used to flock to it on a daily basis. But they are such messy eaters that half of the seed was scattered on to the ground, where it re-seeded itself and came up as weeds – thousands of them! LOL Like you I got hundreds of photos of them, but none as good as this one.All the bestPeter
Thanks very much Peter. I too, have tried the bird feeder in my backyard, but it really only attracted starlings and Indian Miner birds, so it lays dormant now. Thanks for the great comment and for stopping by. :)
