A classic view of Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. This magnificent house is home to the Cavenidish family as the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The current Duke and Duchess still live at the property and open up the magnificent house and gardens to visitors.
The main block of the house was re-built by the 1st Duke between 1687 and 1707. The grounds are also home to a wide variety of spectacular water features, including the mirror lake and the mighty Emperor fountain shown in this photo.
The fountain is fed purely by gravity, the water coming from a source lake high in the grounds of the estate. The fountain has reached heights of 90m
