This picture makes me feel a little sad. The plight of the Orangutan – their struggle to survive – alongside the cruelty and greed of humans. It’s a shame that zoo’s are necessary to prevent their extinction. Thank goodness there are some very selfless, hardworking, dedicated, people in this world! such as the wonderful keepers at the Perth Zoo.

Very beautiful image. It has such power in B&W. I hate what humans are doing to their natural environment. We just dont stop to look at what affects our greed has on animals and plants and one day it will all be too late. Sad indication on the species that is supposed to be superior.
