The Dress II
Got bored one day- was thinking about doing a series of works using a red scarf as the key accent- had also got a new lens for the Mamiya- so got out and did some concept test shots…. The dress and the scarf are the only things these concepts have in common with the intended series, but I thought I’d post the shots anyway…..
I’m REALLY new to doing ‘fashion’ type photography so this all about practice and seeing if I can complete an idea from concept to shoot and get all the elements right….

If this is what you’re coming up with being “REALLY new” to fashion photography, I’m dying to see what happens with some more confidence. The colour is perfect, the emphasis is on the clothing, the composition is dramatic and effective. I’d say top notch. Be proud of this.
