With Obama I hope a new era is born. A few months ago I could have been offended by a phot like this. The words freedom and military don’t belong in the same sentence. Lets hope for better times.
And its just a pity that that American flag is so damn photogenic

Joni, I admire your gutsiness and courage in creating and posting this image. America is under attack worldwide for military aggression, but we can’t forget the past world wars when thousands upon thousands of young American men gave their lives on foreign soil to liberate those who were being oppressed and decimated by fascist regimes. Your tribute is rightly given; bravo!
