Very nice eye with the background and texture. Can you comment on that? Do you shoot your own backgrounds/textures? And do you apply them as a layer in PS adjusting the blending mode and opacity? Nice work here!

Thanks so much Kevin! This one has 2 textures as layers and blended just as you said…most of my textures have come from cgtextures.com…one on here is a fiberglass texture, the other I can’t remember..lol… Thanks again for your kind comments :)

Love it. A well thought out and creatively presented. Taking the bird out of its natural element and applying the texture, just added a new dimension and depth to the image. Very warm and dark colors that works perfectly with the bird’s white plumage. A fave for me.
