An amazing image – it makes me feel warm just looking at it. I think this would represent the end of a perfect day for everyone who has taken the time to watch the sun set while they are on holiday.
You must have used a tripod and telephoto with a filter? Did you take any more images as the sun sank lower? I bet there were some fantastic distortions as the sun shimmered and wobbled its way below the horizon.

I did use my long lens and braced it on my car, no filters..just
touched it up in photoshop. It didn’t distort much at all, as I have seen before..it just seemed to sink slowly….oh, and I took so many switching back and forth between lenses because the clouds above were amazing..(previous images)
