I feel you have done a masterful job on creating such a moody effect here.
The photography has been well handled with good exposure for the white bird and good focus for nice detail.
There is a great sense of anticipation and a slight feeling on menace in this for me.

Great work, my friend. This is really stunning. First, the composition is beautiful. And then there’s a very distinct depth here, created by the silvery water and the blurred greens in the front. And the wonderful waiting egret in between is perfectly lit.
