So yesterday I created my 100th Daily Biscuit. I decided to make a couple changes for this next series of daily paintings. The paintings are slightly larger, now 6″x6″ (The actual frame window of the other ones were 3.5″x5.5″). This also changes the ratio of the image space. Instead of being a horizontal rectangle, it is now a square. These new pieces are sold mounted on 6″x6″ artist’s board with a 3/4″ cradled birch plywood frame. Switching the final presentation from a frame with a mat and glass to a cradled wooden board, creates a more organic sensibility that better matches the imagery I make. Thanks so much for checking out my art. I appreciate the interest and the support, feel free to let others know of the lovely Daily Biscuits. This piece was made with acrylic paint on 100lb. bristol fine art paper.
