This one is about planting new cycles in our lives. As the farmers plant their seeds right now for crops in the fall, I plant seeds for new beginnings in my life. I’ve been completing a lot of cycles recently, or “incomplete circles”. Whether it’s spending time with someone you’ve been meaning to spend time with, or completing a project you’ve been working on for 3 years, it’s good to complete the circles that remain open that you’ve meaning to attend to. When I complete a circle (or cycle), I feel like some space has been created, where it enables me to learn from my process and get some perspective on new beginnings for future endeavors. I talked about this same type of idea when I made Completing Circles. And you can also view that painting’s Time-Lapse Painting Video. This piece was made with acrylic paint on 100lb. bristol fine art paper.
