Darwinian Chimp
One of a series of images to tie in with the celebrations this year for the bicentennial of the birth of Charles Darwin. The project looks at aging my natural history photographs in an attempt to represent the sort of images we may have now if the voyages had had access to a modern SLR.

I’m new to redbubble and I’ve seen a few people post a comment of someone’s work like this. Can I ask what it means, if anything?
Scott Denny
Jon,
I was basically saying I think this is an awesome photo. I can see you used some form of photoshop effects or treatments. I think what you have done with this from an artisitc perspective is great.
Jonathan Carre replied
Hi Scott,
lol thanks, I meant the posting of an actual image with a border (as it would be presented in a laminated print) as in your second comment, rather than the feedback in the first. :)
And thanks for the kind words.
Scott Denny
LOL…well thank God you got my comment the first time. I was like…hmmm…what is up with this fella.
Regarding the laminated image….periodically I see images that really catch my eye. I can tell seeing a version with a border would make the image pop!
I guess it is my way of demonstrating a deeper appreciation for the image and how I see it as art with the potential of hanging on someones wall.

Oh right, that’s cool. Thanks very much for the input.
