Following on from my recent, unfinished set entitled “Inception”
Journeyed to the South West Corner of Western Australia again a while back now…for work this time but never the less I was there…where it all began for me and where I feel most drawn.
No glorious sunsets, no brilliant dawns, just rain, thick cloud, strong winds and wild seas…..time for some high contrast processing !!
At first I was not sure how to tackle the conditions…but once you’re there, standing on those rocks feeling the rush of sea air on your skin coupled with salty spray on you lips……it all just works…
It wasn’t very long before I was skipping like a school girl (I kid you not !!)..slipping and sliding my way through the rock pools and dodging the swell….a few worth keeping but alas most…speckled with sea spray or blurred from lifting the camera high as the waves crashed in…..
Just what the doctor ordered….
