“Effluxion” : That which flows in or out….

The ever awe inspiring Canal Rocks, Cape Naturalist National Park South Western WA, Australia…..Never tire of spectacles like this…the shear power of the surging water as it fights it’s way along the channel……the sea is just amazing to watch…..

Just leave me here…I have found where I belong…!!!!

Not quite a 1 × 3 Crop (too much going on !) in lightroom, Lifted exposure by 0.3 (1 stop) Lifted contrast + 50 for definition, created pseudo multiple exposures the processed in the new Photomatix Pro 4, tonemapped in light mode (high) and carefully reduced the strength to just improve the detail and voila !!

Appreciating and capturing light is the cornerstone to my photography. combine this with the beauty of our Western Australian beaches and rocky coastline and you have something that should be both witnessed, captured and shared.

I hope I can inspire you to take the time to see a sunrise or sunset, on a coast or a rocky outcrop somewhere, and then maybe you can understand why for me, Photography has become a passion……
