My last night in the Margaret River Region of Western Australia….After scouting the area during the day I decided on setting up camp !!..on these amazing rocky outcrops between Smiths Beach and Canal Rocks close to Yallingup…
What a wonderfully peaceful location and although the sunset dissipated into nothing worth shouting about…the lead up was beautiful with the sun performing wonderfully for me with the cloud…the swell was up which made for some interesting ‘Dodging’ of crashing waves on the rocks and it’s fair to say…I got soaked !!!…much to the amusement of a few spectators and my dear patient wife watching from a nice dry vantage point.
As usual the light changed dramaticaly during the course of the evening so the next series of shots has some wild variations of tones and colours…I hope you enjoy viewing this wonderful scenery as much as I enjoyed shooting it…
My lovely Daughter Danielle has finally joined RB which I’m really proud of, although I think all the credit needs to go to her photography teacher at school rather than myself….you may just see a hint of me in her shots !!!..:))…but judge for yourself..
