Thought I’d try creating 3 exposures in Lightroom and processing in Photomatix Pro……Created this and I must admit…like it !!…Hope you do too !
Nikon D90
Sigma 10-20mm @10mm
F/11
10.0 Sec Exposure
ISO 100
Hitech 0.9 ND Grad soft
Hitech 0.9 Reverse ND Grad
Contrast, levels and crop in Lightroom, then created 3 virtual copies and exported to Photomatix pro and blended the 3 exposures together.
Taken at Yanchep Lake, Yanchep National Park, Western Australia.

Cheers John…I never know just how far to take an image without making the original image seem almost pointless !! I think that’s why I like just a subtle tonemapping rather than the more harsh HDR effects !!! I gues like everything photographic..it’s personal !

Cheers Joel..That’s the only trouble with the 10-20mm lens, what seems to fill the sky looks so small in the photo that I almost always end up going for the tight letterbox crop !!..Thanks again mate.
