….this image speaks for itself…..it is the female form, soft, delicate, fragile.

This is definitely NOT what I normally photograph but I must admit…I am really proud of this image,

In my opinion it is extremely difficult to photograph a naked women and create a sensual and sophisticated image without it stepping across the very fine line into pornography, there are many photographers who I’m sure find this easy and I must say do it extremely well so it was something I really wanted to try…this is my take on that theme

To create this image I first created 3 virtual copies of the colour image in Lightroom 2 then tonemapped in Photomatix Pro to really exaggerate the highlights & luminance. Then back in lightroom where I desaturated about 95% then added grad filters to the bottom left & right of the image to lift the brightness with a yellowish hue, then finally a white grad filter across the top to disguise the features. Each of the grads was heavy on the brightness, not exposure. then dropped the overall exposure again to bring back some of the details and here it is.
