Hi all, a couple of updates….

After receiving the proof copies of my book in both hard and soft cover.. I’ve made several changes to the book, both in layout, additional text, and photo choices that just didn’t work or flow within the book, Below is the final revision, I say final because so far, each time I revisit the book, there’s always something else to change !! so unless I say FINAL REVISION… I think I will never stop re-editing !!!!!

As you will see, a lot more editorials, the order flows much better, a couple of the images have been lightened as they printed out slightly too dark and I’ve generally just cleaned it right up, you will also notice that I’ve been more specific with the title, listing the areas of this vast state that I have included in the book.. less vague that way…

As another bit of advice for anyone doing the same.. it is most definitely well worth the extra dollars going for the proline coated photo paper upgrade, I had one copy in premium lustre paper (not bad !!) and one sent in proline coated photo paper…WOW… what a difference, it makes it..seriously, the only trouble is it pushes the cost up to $60.00 US plus $10 shipping for an 80 page book… so maybe the sales will drop but the quality is there which was the main thing I was worried about.

You all really should give it a go, it is extremely rewarding to hold your own work in your hands but boy have I had some abuse about the photo of me !!!.. Need to update I think ready for the second book !!!!!!!!

21 sales so far with the original edit !!.. Woohoo.. lets just see how the refined version goes !!!
Mind you…my family and friends make up that 21 so maybe some sales not gifts might be nice for a change !!…haha !.. :-))

Oh… by the way.. the movie is doing extremely well also, almost 26,000 views now on YouTube

I’m sure most of you are responsible so thank you all from the bottom of m’ boots for all the views, great comments and support…. If work and weather permits, I should be out shooting again really soon ..:)))

Also finally got around to registering jonathanstacey.com although no website yet but at least it links to RB.. so it’s a start..

As a side note..: I have had my work on the iPhone photographers application iFolio for some time now and am very pleased to say, I currently sit at 14th place out of several hundred artists with 183 fans !!!… it’s just all too good !!!… Thank you all very much again and again for giving me the confidence to get out there and do what I love doing….:)))
