lovely – sad and pure and hopeful all at once – the figures running out the bottom frame, the dark sky are simply heartbreaking.

i agree, this painting really grows on me. i just gae it to my mother in law. i hope she likes it. Going home to the states in a few days. i think i will keep painting what i saw here in Eire for a long time.
