Heart Story With Black Blood
acrylic on board ~ this was my first painting after my husband and I parted ways. I held back on the black ~ it was too painful while I was doing it and I had to stop. I was glad that I did; looking at it helped my healing process. When I painted it, I was sad and angry but as time passed and it sat on my dresser, it was a source of hope. I did notice the pink hand holding the heart too, but it wasn’t planned

This is amazing and powerful! The white/light pink almost looks like a hand squeezing or holding part of a heart or maybe that was exactly what you intended : )
