I was driving to work. I flipped on the radio. It was all over the news. It hurt
:( I cried. I had a long commute. I knew I had to get off the news stations. I pressed seek. The next thing I heard is what I want to relay. This is a message a calling for us ALL. We need to listen to that voice in us and step up th the plate. It is the little things over and over that add up to the greater GOOD.
(All good is of God, Light, Al aha, Jesus, The Universe….call it what you want. See my Einstein BLOG if you want to know MY concept of God, which by the way is DYNAMIC as I learn and grow that naturally evolves.)
Andrew Womack, a minister I had heard and liked before! Cool, let me see what he saying about the situation. He related a story. A friend of his that he had not spoken to in years just popped into his head one morning. He had a very strong urge to call him that morning, as he sat there drinking his coffee. He was able to recall the date clearly because he got a call that evening, when he got home. His friend of many years was dead!
Apparently, the friend left his home as usual. Walked out to his car, grabbed the door handle, and was bitten by a Ant. He had some weird allergic reaction and was dead in minutes. Andrew thought “What If” I had called? Would that delay have prevented this death.
Six months later Andrew was at a seminar and he saw the son of the dead friend and approached him and related his story of that morning. To his astonishment, the son said Andrew was the sixth person to relate that same story of that morning.
The next morning I left for work early so I could hear his entire show. Andrew then proceeded to tie his story in to Columbine. From the little information he gathered, from the news, he saw the shirked calls to STOP this tragedy. Their were many people that knew these boys and said and did nothing, we all know the story. His point was CLEAR. We all are a part of this world. We need to listen to and function from the HEART
(Gods Spirit i us.)
I would like to close with this. Fear and DRAMA are not of the LIGHT. The next time you squelch a gut urge to do or say something think about it for a few minutes. Remember the Ant and Columbine. Know in your heart that FEAR is not of God. Then do, or tactfully with respect and love SAY, what NEEDS to be said. We ALL have a RESPONSIBILITY to make our world BETTER. One person at a time.
Peace Love and Light,
JT
