When I was in the local camera club, the judges used to say stupid things like, ‘this is not as clear a picture of a frog or toad as it could be’ ( ‘could be’, basically meant, why don’t you cut your lawn more often, or ‘you could have picked the animal up and put it somewhere elso where there wasn’t any grass’). Yes, both of those aspects are true, but when you are giving a critique, you have to tread delicately. This is perfectly exposed and as well lit as one could expect, so this is not a bad effort.
Ha ha this reminds me of my brother, because he reminds me of toad out of wind in the willows with his driving. You just can’t beat English wildlife… it’s so exotic ey. Brilliant capture though!
