O this makes me so sad Jim :( Some people can get so caught up in delusional and imagined relationships that the reality of life becomes a distant memory for them. Its terrible that someone is doing this to you. Especially since you are such a talented writer. I am sorry to see you go :(

Jim, I am deeply shocked to read this, and yet sadly, it does not surprise me as I know how the internet works, and how human nature has many facets that dwell beneath the horizon of the light…..and thus use the internet for agendas that are contra to the good of all, and in the case of RB…contra to the power and beauty of the creative flow. It will be a sad day for Rb if you take your beautiful words away, but always remember….. you cannot “endarken” an enlightened place…... darkness can never dispel light. Only light can dispel darkness and illuminate those shadows within us all….. Just continue to shine!!

Jim it really saddens me to read this and to know this has happened. It’s a bunch of crap…and a lot of crap has been going on, which personally has made me see this website a little differently, unfortunately. Jim, you will be missed. I agree with Kimangeline, this has struck close. I know you will keep writing, and I hope to keep reading your work. It’s been so nice knowing you. x

Can’t you just ignore the crap Jim ? There will always be the weirdos and the
stirrers, why give them the power to watch you lose heart at their assumptions

leave ‘them’ I mean

The internet opens us up to a whole universe of different people, it’s not surprising that there will be a few weirdos mixed into the stew, I’ve had a ‘man’ on here write a poem where he threatened to rape me with a glass bottle and f*ck me when I was dead, then I found out that he lives in my country and he emailed me from a town local to me…. VERY scary stuff! Redbubble really needs to work out how to block ip addresses, I know people can come back using a proxy but at least it makes the likelihood far less, internet harrassment of this nature is breaking the law and should be reported as such… I wish you wouldn’t let the weirdos beat you and drive you away, for in doing so they are achieving a sick sense of victory and are making a victim of you, I refuse to live in fear or be made a victim out of by anyone, and even moreso, I refuse to cease creating my art or poetry and being amongst some of the best people I’ve ever had the priviledge of knowing. I do wish you’d reconsider and not let them drive you away, trust me, the majority of bubblers are such compassionate comparing people, and I’d really miss reading your wonderful words if you were to go.

Take no shit from anyone… it is a falicy that you can hide on the net… RB is an Australian site, therefor the Federal police have juristiction, natomc@afp.gov.au , they have taken a dislike to people who stalk or threaten or bully on the net.. I would hate to see you leave because of one arsehole … stand your ground, why let them think they can do that sort of shit without getting theirs…

I’m just sick about this – and there has been far too much of it going on around here lately. I have only just begun to get to know you and your work and it’s just devastating that you should have to leave over someone else’s stupidity. As Lisa said, people are not possessions – a person cannot be stolen! It will be a very sad day for RB when you leave and take with you the light that you are for others. But I respect your decision – you know that you will always have a place here among those who love you and call you friend – and even those of us who were just becoming that. Jim, think upon this for awhile. Will you let one bad apple affect you to the point of withdrawing so that nine good apples miss out on your good heart? This is not an easy question I pose for it cuts deep to who we are as people. It has taken me years to answer this question for myself.

Jim you are a singular entity. You were born as such and you will die as such. In between your task is to remain as such, Especially when youve taken on the task of creation- the only thing one can safely do with the energies granted him upon entrance to this realm…and from the git-go the harbingers of distruction will begin the attempt at snuffing out out your creations.
I know you know this…the only way you can thwart them is to separate yourself mentally from the chaos of the masses that bare their crontrol....A creator must create and past a certain point he must do so without fear because that tactics of the destoyer mentality are dependent on fear as their primary weapon. And something I’ve learned (belive it or dont it doesnt matter to me) is that creations are not our own they are the property of creation itself and are meant to be shared to be added to the sea of creation and play a part that many times the person that creates them is totally unaware of. To simply create and let your work sit and stagnate, unseen by others will (mark my words) lead more than anything else to your personal misery and eventual downfall in some way or another. The advent of the online world has granted the creator the safest window through which to display his work, and in so doing has knocked the feet out from under these destroyers, and though they may be really pissed off, the only weapon they have is a few hateful words sent through some wires…
Back in the day you may have been beheaded without a trial because some dude in a position of power thought you were making eyes at ‘his girl’ or giving people a viewpoint other than his own, when infact you were simply doing your job – creating...But this is not ‘back in the day’...were not in kansas anymore toto…
Dont give in Jim!..you must create, you must share what you create, not for us, though you would be missed, but for you!

about spoiler mentality. But I can understand the need for a break; though

Well said jim, though control is a tenuos illusion, keep in mind that it can be very perilous for us (the tools of creation) to decide the where and whens of release of the creation that we are only the doorway for. It almost always come to pass that the moment of creation is the ‘when’ and closest possible outlet is the ‘where’...ninety nine point nine percent of the time we cant foresee the intent of such forces….I dont know..just my personal observation to be sure, and really all I intended was a pep talk…its would be a tragedy is all, if you were planning on tossing in the towel…I’m glad thats not the case though…good luck

Jim, I notice Peter above has asked whether you’ve reported this, and I would just reiterate… it’s a very good idea to do so. You can click on the ‘report’ button underneath the bmail, if it was sent to you in that format… however, it would be a really good idea to contact Redbubble and pass on the info to them, let the team deal with hey… :)

I think it is time that redbubble instituted some form of a block… you can block people on most other sites.. not sure how they would do it since the content is public…. Good luck … let me know if you find a solution….

So sorry Jim that you have experienced this. Have you reported the abuse to Red Bubble? I agree that it is time for a “block” just to make it safer and harassment free.
