My name is Jose. I’m a 27 year old Marine Veteran from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Was enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2000-2007. I recently Graduated from Full Sail University, in Winter Park, Florida with a Bachelor in Science of Film.
My camera gear:
Nikon D700
Nikon 18-35mm
Nikon 50mm 1.4
Nikon 85mm 1.8
Nikon 105mm macro 2.8
Nikon 70-300mm 4-5.6
SIGMA 70-200mm 2.8

I love lighting. I wish I had professional lighting gear but right now I’m using Home Depot lights and bounce boards. Natural lighting is always great and I’ve even used a Maglite on a shoot once. I like to shoot a variety of different styles. Not really hooked on one thing and I guess that’s why a lot of my stuff is just okay. Although I do favor portraits, and photos that have the human element. I’m always looking for something new to shoot. I like to be familiar with all styles of photography to increase my knowledge of visuals and lighting techniques, overall enhancing my filmmaking capabilities.
I see Photography as an important trait to know before entering into the world of professionals in Cinematography.
