Morning Glory
Woke up early to catch the sunrise and took a short drive down to Lamar Valley in Yellowstone National Park. The morning fog was hovering close to the ground. A male Elk off in the distance peering out of the fog. Definitely worth waking up early for.

Great image!
Shooting oft is always a challenge. Our eye and mind compensates so much, which the camera does not. I can tell a tale or two. lol
I may have just made the silhouette of the ELK a little punchier in Photoshop, which would not have killed the atmosphere of the picture.

MMMM a morning glory is a different thing where I come from – but this is a magnificent shot. To see such things is magic. To capture this as perfectly as you have is something to hold onto forever. Glad you rose early.
