Identical twins, Marlene and Jenny are childhood friends. Their twinship is intrinsic to their identity and they share a bond that is inexplicably close. I wanted to capture that.
To me, they are my sisters.

Some years ago I survived a serious attack on my life. During the year of recovery, I did two drawings and found the activity both calming and exciting.
I am studying under Leon Fourie, Danie de Wet and Gillian Taylor.
I have simplified my life completely and now paint full time.
Art for me, is an intensely personal expression of how I appreciate and perceive life and people.

Yes, you’ve caught that inexpressible something that we call a bond. I’m not a critic of art but to me this is what art is about, of course colour,tone, etc are important, but your skills in those areas are apparent., but this is something special :-))
