Behind the lens:
My name is Jorunn Sjofn and I live in Reykjavik, Iceland. I have a great passion for photography and I love to capture different kind of things. Since I remember I have been interested in taking photos and when I was younger I used to frame everything I saw. I travelled a lot around Iceland with my parents when I was little and got inspired from so many places. Icelandic nature is a big inspiration for me. The light and the unique landscape is so phenomenal and gives one endless opportunities. Not so long ago I got my first real Canon and after that moment it has never been a returning back. I simply love to capture what I see and love to turn objects into beautiful things. I specialize in landscape and nature but also I love to take macro pictures and do some artistic work from flowers and other things. I love to capture beautiful things and I try to make them even more special and beautiful with my photography work. Yesterday (31.8.2012) I won the first price in the summer contest on www.spotilove.com and that was a big honor for me.
