I am a part time working mum of two and when I get some spare time I love drawing and painting. I am self taught and started drawing portraits, mostly of Elvis Presley, when I was about 10 years old. My most memorable commissioned work was in 2000 for a family portrait for Paul Scholes from Manchester United. My dream is to own a little shop somewhere picturesque where I can do and sell my art. I have just been bought a SLR camera for christmas by my husband. I haven’t a clue how to use it on manual mode and so I need to either teach myself or enrol on a course, maybe online. Any advice would be greatly appreciated:) I would love to take my own photos to use as a reference for my artwork. I love admiring other artists work and I have already viewed some stunning art on here. This year I would love to start doing something positive with my artwork. I really want to help raise money to help the apes of the world.
