Ornithologists may correct me, but my two guesses were a) a raven or b) a parrot going to a funeral …I’m sure it’s not a robin.Oh, it’s probably a jackdaw !

In any case this bird and its companions were hungry and swooping around for picnic scraps.

I set a fast shutter speed, carefully selected a large aperture to ensure a small depth of field, used my left eye to take in the real view, my right eye framed the shot through the viewfinder and I panned and tracked steadily and then, I got lucky . Click.
