My Bubblesite

I’m a amateur photographer living in Greenmount Western Australia (in the hills above Perth). I’ve been interested in photography since i got my first SLR in 1986, initially i used Olympus 35mm film equipment before moving to Pentax in 1997. In 2007 i was fortunate enough to be able to purchase a Pentax K10D digital SLR after which the whole ball-game changed. I don’t feel the need to change to Canon or Nikon now, I love the quality and affordability of Pentax equipment.

For strobist work i use a Pentax AF-360FGZ, a Canon Speedlite 540EZ, white shoot-through umbrellas and wireless triggers.

Lenses i use include the wonderful Pentax SMC 50mm f1.4, Sigma 28-70mm f2.8 and the stunning Tamron 70-200mm f2.8.

I love black & white photography and i have a Pentax MZ-5n in my camera bag loaded with black & white film ready for “that special shot”. I also process alot of my digital photos as black and white. The images presented on this site have all (currently) been created with a Pentax K10D digital SLR. For off-camera processing i use Photoshop.
