Nick and New in Chiang Mai, Thailand, feed each other with Thai sweets and fruit, a quaint tradition and part of their wedding ceremony. Moments before their sweet feast, the wedding guests bound their wrists with scores of cotton strings to bless them and wish them a happy life together. Mixed Thai/Western marriages are becoming increasingly common in Thailand.

I am an Australian expat living in the hills of Mae Hong Son province Thailand (please visit cavelodge.com). I photograph almost everything, above and below ground.

    Awesome! Love her expression :D

  • It’s a bit like ‘try this sweetheart’ with Nick wondering what New is feeding him.
