Historical photographs of women from various ethnic groups that inhabit the mountains of north Thailand, northeast Burma and northwest Laos, the infamous Golden Triangle. These images are from the 1970s and 1980s, before major changes engulfed the traditional hilltribe societies and their isolation from the outside world was lost forever.
