Pencil sketch of my best friend in 1980 filtered with poster edges in ps. The paper was originaly white, I tinted it to yellow. Moose was her nickname because of her abundance of naturally curly hair.
sketch, friend, hair, diane johnson mosley, graphite, colored pencil, portrait
Like most of us here, I was born to create. I am not happy with myself or others if I can’t. I am a lover of sience, fantasy and nature and I don’t think I could ever create anything as wonderous as our natural world but I can try.
I remember 1980 – vaguely. This is really good, Diane. The eyes are perfect!
Thank you Scott, I remember them vaguely also. What I do remember is that they were pretty wonderful.
– Diane Johnson-Mosley
Thank you so much!
Really like this one! wonderful expression in the eyes and I like the dot work. I have a Hendrix drawing that is almost all dots but I screwed up and made him right handed so only have it posted on my personal site.
Thank you Michael, I’d love to see the Hendrix. Hey if he could play with his teeth whos to say he wasn’t ambidextrous?
wonderful diane, a touch of seurat, color scheme is perfect and pleasing
